Is there a dress code?
Yep! Think semi-formal with fall wedding vibes—dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits, or a shirt and slacks combo if ties aren’t your thing. Our venue is a rustic vintage barn with major photo-op energy, so prepare to look fabulous in photos.
You’ll be moving from outdoor cocktail hour to indoor dinner and dancing, so maybe leave the stilettos and winter coats at home, but bring a light jacket just in case Mother Nature shows up uninvited.
Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
There is! No valets in bow ties, but there’s a lot directly across the street from the venue, and it’s free. Ceremony and reception are at the same location, so no need to drive between events. You’re welcome.
Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Yes! The venue is 15-20 minutes outside of Ocean City. There are plenty of hotel options available on island or off island. We reserved a hotel block at the Port-O-Call Hotel at a discounted rate. Check out the Travel & Stay page for our faves and links that may or may not make you feel like you’re booking a vacation.
Will transportation be provided to the venue?
Heck yes. If you're staying at Port-O-Call, we got you:
Shuttle #1 rolls up at 3:40 PM
Shuttle #2 at 3:55 PM
Both leave by 4:00 PM, with or without you. Don't be the person who gets left because you “just had to grab a road soda.”
Return shuttles start at 9:30 PM, and the last one heads out at 10:40 PM, giving you plenty of time to bust a move, snag cake, and say dramatic goodbyes. Think of it as Uber, but classier, free, and with 12 of your future dance-floor besties.
Are kids welcome?
We love your babies, but this is a kid-free celebration so the adults can have a few drinks, say bad words, and eat dessert without sharing.
Trust us—you’ll thank us for the night off.
Can I bring a date?
Only if your invite says “& Guest.” And if it does, include their name when RSVPing so we can avoid the super awkward “Mystery Meat” name tag situation.
What will the food & drink options be?
You’ll be fed. Well.
Passed apps during cocktail hour to keep you from getting hangry
A buffet dinner with options for everyone
An open bar (aka the most magical phrase in event planning)
And dessert, obviously. Cake will be involved.
Check out the Menu page if you want to plan your bites in advance like the food-loving legend you are.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
No worries—our caterer has skills. Just let us know in your RSVP what you can’t eat, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of. No sad salads here.
What if I RSVP’d yes, but my life explodes and I can’t come?
We get it. Just please let us know ASAP so we don’t order a plate of chicken for your ghost.
